ORGANIZATION
Dan is a Master Plumber and co-owner of Lehigh Plumbing in Easton, PA. While most plumbers use vans or trucks in their business, Dan's company also has this plumbing trailer.
They built out the trailer to be both a mobile workshop and a mini supply house.
Dan's philosophy?
Keep things clean and organized on your truck or trailer throughout the day and you'll make more money.
He says:
If tools are going back in the proper position, you're speeding up the day, things stay clean, they stay efficient. Potentially that gives you the opportunity to finish the job quicker, making more money.
The most valuable thing you have in your day is time.

Building With Steel
They've got some welding skills, so there are some nice touches to the trailer - a typical construction van or trailer build will use plywood everywhere for everything. Metal construction can save space, since you can use smaller sections and thicknesses to get the same strength as plywood.
Speedy Access
At the side cargo door are some frequently used things:
- Gloves are mounted on the door for easy access.
- Dan says they use a step stool most of the time, so a short, lightweight step stool mounts to the door. They top of the stool clips on and the bottom is secured with magnets.
- Several sizes of slip joint pliers are mounted next to the door on magnetic mounts. It's easy to grab these pliers and put them away in an instant.
- Rags are bungied overhead to the ceiling of the trailer.

On Board Workbench
In the V-nose of the trailer, they have a small workbench. This is a great place for small jobs or organizing job parts.
Dan says they don't do a lot of soldering, so he tries to keep the soldering gear on the trailer and solder things like shower valves on the bench.
Since they're mostly using PEX and ProPress, it makes sense for them to have a soldering station on the trailer, rather than a soldering job kit that goes on the jobsite.
DeWalt Organization
Dan has a lot of DeWalt organizers and toolboxes on this truck!
They're mounted using DeWalt's Toughsystem brackets. These brackets are arms that protrude from the walls that accept DeWalt toolboxes and organizers.
More Width
The magic of this system is that you can easily get some more space by removing toolboxes from the rack and folding the arms flat.
This wouldn't be an efficient use of your time if you did it every day, but for Dan, this means that he doesn't need to worry about carrying bulky items every once in a while.
